EnerVision and Vantage Point Solutions Joining Forces

Feb 25, 2026

We are pleased to share that EnerVision has joined the Vantage Point Solutions family of companies, as two industry leaders combine to form a single entity. This is big news, and we look forward to the bright future ahead of us.

Vantage Point specializes in integrated solutions, providing a “one stop shop” but also services that are informed from a multi-disciplinary perspective. EnerVision will become the enhanced Power Consulting department within Vantage Point’s suite of engineering and consulting services for electric co-ops. This move significantly increases Vantage Point’s expertise in areas such as Power Supply, Resiliency and Risk Management, Clean Energy Planning, Utility Cost and Forecasting, and Management Consulting for utilities.

This enhanced depth and breadth will improve efficiency for those we serve: Traditional EnerVision services will benefit from engineering and analytical expertise now in-house. Meanwhile, Vantage Point clients now have the benefit of expanded and integrated consulting expertise.

As part of this exciting transition, Elaine Johns – longtime CEO of EnerVision – will step into the role of Senior Principal – Power Consulting. Ronnie Donaldson, EnerVision COO, steps into the role of VP of Power Consulting. For our combined staff, this expands opportunities for growth while allowing everyone to focus on what they do best and better empowering their relationships with clients. To that end, we are committed to ensuring existing staff engagements continue without disruption.

We likewise remain committed to the expertise and quality of service that have been hallmarks of both organizations. Together we serve a large percentage of Electric Cooperatives across Rural America. This is not a responsibility we take lightly; We are wholeheartedly dedicated to providing premier Consulting and Engineering services for co-ops, empowering safe, reliable, resilient power through technical, financial, strategic, and operational services.

Headquarters for the company will be at Vantage Point’s corporate office in Mitchell, South Dakota. EnerVision’s office in Atlanta will remain, becoming the 13th brick-and-mortar location for the expanded company. This enhanced footprint is an opportunity for us to serve our clients more closely, as well as offering new geographic opportunities for our team.

Bench strength, more robust services, longitudinal stability, enabling closer relationships to customers – these are tangible ways this acquisition benefits the Co-ops we serve. As we have worked together in bringing this new chapter to fruition, we have found ourselves inspired by our combined dedication to rural electric cooperatives and our staff who serve them. Likewise, we hope to inspire confidence in our teams, clients, and industry friends: Our roots are deep, our values are aligned, our management is young and dynamic, and our vision is exciting. We are ready and proud to go forward serving our industry – stronger, together.
